Vendor Spotlight - TVE Productions

You know, sometimes you get to meet some really amazing vendors, but then you’re lucky enough to get to know those vendors, and consider them pretty amazing people as well! That exact same sentiment holds so true with Vince, the owner of TVE Productions. We sat down with him today to discuss all things TVE.

Lets start with the easy one: Who are you?

Hi there! I’m Vince Calamia, owner of TVE Productions Inc.; a fine art cinema boutique located in the GTA.

What do you do (other than being awesome of course)?

My passion consists of CREATING MAGIC THROUGH the art of FILM. I opened my studio 11 years ago on one vision: to give clients a piece of my expression through visuals and storytelling. Through creativity and mere passion, my crew, now of 9, create cinematic experiences that leave our clients in total satisfaction which results in an end product that is uniquely different from others.

So, why weddings?

Why not weddings!? I just love the atmosphere, the craziness, and the feeling you get when being involved in such an incredible day.

What is your favourite part of the wedding day or planning process?

I think the best part is the morning. We really get to spend quality time with both the bride and groom individually. While doing our job, we get to really enjoy them and have memorable moments that we cherish forever.

What question do you wish all couples would ask you?

I really don’t know to be honest. My couples tend to come to the consultation well educated and ready to ask away which, in turn, makes the consultation more effective

What question do you wish couples would stop asking you?

I strongly feel no question is a wrong question. If clients have a question in mind, they should definitely ask. At the end of the day, that’s what we’re here for. I want to answer them all!

What’s the one wedding trend you currently love?

I love the innocence of a first reveal. I love the anticipation and emotions involved. Makes for a great love story.

What’s the one wedding trend you could do without?

Cheesy speeches. Be original in your speeches. Leave Google out of it. We hear the same speeches over and over again. *Laughs*

What’s the one piece of advice you give all your couples?

Love one another like it’s the last day on Earth. Don’t hide it. It’s beautiful and should be showcased to the world
