Winter 2020 Trends

Good morning lovies! Today, we woke up, looked outside, and noticed that our favourite maple tree is a beautiful shade of orange. With our hot cup of tea in hand, we realized that winter is just around the corner, and it was time for our Winter 2020 Wedding Trends blog! We love this blog! We LOVE winter weddings! To get a photo of our couple, kissing as fresh snow falls from the sky… oh! What a beautiful site! Here are our Top 5 Winter 2020 Wedding Trends!

1. Classic Colours: Oh, who doesn’t love a great colour scheme? There are plenty of colour schemes to choose from for Winter 2020, and the beginning of 2021, but our personal favourite is Dusty Blue and Blush, with Silver as the accent. These colours are not only timeless, but suit winter so perfectly! Just imagine, a gorgeous, white, satin table cloth, dusty blue goblets, silver china, and pops of blush in your floral centerpieces! WOW!

2. Fault Line Cakes: These visually stunning pieces of cake art make it look like an outer chunk of your cake is missing so you can see the interior, which can be fruit, sprinklers, flowers, and so much more!

3. Non-Traditional Florals: Instead of red roses, or hydrangeas, we think that the best Winter 2020 trend is using non-traditional florals like anthuriums, black roses, and pompus grass! These pieces of florals will really make your bouquets and centerpieces stunningly different! Want something really different and straight out of a magazine? Then opt to have colour-classing florals for your florals instead of sticking to a colour scheme.

4. A Different Look: Our other favourite colour scheme, however, Rose Gold and Dark Wine, with accents of Gold Glitter will give that winter wedding a great POP! Picture a harvest table with a garland of fresh florals in the center, Dark Wine-coloured florals amongst the green leaves, Rose Gold in the charger plates, and glitter! Who doesn’t love GLITTER!

5. Ceremonies in the Round: They say a circle represents unity and eternity, so why not have your ceremony set up the same way? Instead of having your guests in straight aisles, have them gathered in a circle around you and your officiant. This allows for a more intimate ceremony and allows guests who would normally be twelve aisles back to be much closer!

There you have it my lovelies! We know these Winter 2020 trends will be amazing, which means it isn’t too late for you to adopt them into your wedding! Contact us today on help in making the transition to these amazingly fabulous trends!
