Spring Wedding Trends 2021
It’s as if the warm sun and cool breeze brings on the feeling of wedding season, and another year of covid doesn’t change our mind, or hearts on that! Now that Spring is finally here, we wanted to write about what we predict for the 2021 Spring wedding season, and our Top 5 Spring Trends!
1. Twinkles & Tents: I think this Spring will show a lot of outdoor weddings, allowing our couples to have as many of their loved ones present at their wedding as possible, and with tents comes beautiful twinkle lights! I see a lot of twinkle lights this Spring, instead of the typical wall LED lights that you see at weddings, to give that romantic ambiance that everyone craves.
2. Mis-Matched Seating: This is a trend my favourite decorator, OMG Events predicts, and I’m stealing her idea! Instead of all of your guests in the same style chair for the ceremony or reception, we see mis-matched chairs. Unconventional reception designs are on the rise, and chairs are going to be right along for the ride!
3. Mini-Cakes: Since we won’t be having the large weddings we’ve missed since 2020, we see single-layer and mini-cakes at a large bulk of our weddings this year. Picture it: every guest received their own mini-cake instead of a slice of cake, and you and your partner cutting into a mini-cake large enough for the two of you and your one-year anniversary. Sweet never had more meanings!
4. Brunch Weddings: Who doesn’t love brunch? And since most weddings will be held outdoors, we see couples wanting to take advantage of sun-kissed experiences, lush garden parties, and mimosas!
5. Florals: Again, working with the prediction that most weddings will be outdoors, we see fresh, succulent florals will come with a mixture of sentimentality and voluminous. We think couples will go larger in their floral arrangements in small ways, like when all components of the wedding is cohesive (something we strive for every time).
We cannot wait to see what your wedding vision is, and if you’ve adopted any of the Spring trends we see for 2021!
