Summer Trends 2021
Yes! Summer is HERE!! It’s hot, it’s beautiful, and weddings are back! Maybe not the large indoor weddings, but ceremonies with more than 10 people are finally here, and we couldn’t be happier! So to celebrate with all of you, here are our Top 5 Summer Trends for 2021 that we are super excited to see!
Backyard Weddings: Especially since COVID restrictions are still here, we see backyard weddings becoming a huge hit this summer! Within the comfort of your own home, and intimate weddings still a thing, you won’t have to worry about your backyard being too small, because the coziness of it all will be perfect!
Unexpected Venues: Not that the guest list has shrunk, we see venue spaces being so much better! How about getting married on a boat? What about where you had your first date? Think outside the box and make it a wedding you, and your shrunken guest list, will never forget!
Something Blue: I see groomsmen throwing black and grey suits to the curb and, instead, wearing gorgeous, navy blue suits, a colour that suits every skin tone. It’s been gaining speed since 2019, but I see a large push for it this summer.
Large on Luxury: Since couples can’t have their 100+ guestlist, I see couples putting those funds towards luxurious items, like covering the ceiling in florals, or anything that makes your floral and décor truly over the top! Usually a thing for magazines, I see couples making these statement pieces every weddings dream!
Extended Celebrations: This one I’m more excited to see! Since our couples can’t have all of their loved ones at their weddings (YET), I see couples extending their weddings from a few hours to a few days, maybe even a week, so all of their guests can experience something different! One day would be welcome dinner, another the ceremony, a brunch, a pool party, and whatever else so that every guest who was originally going to be invited will now have an intimate party with the couple.
