Vendor Spotlight - Lucas T Photography

I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Lucas, the owner of Lucas T Photography, at a wedding in 2019. Lucas was the photographer, I was hired to be the Day-Of Coordinator, we just clicked. The way he was able to get the shiest couple I know to open up, and take some of the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen with such a shy couple, is short of amazing!

Lets start with the easy one: Who are you?

Hello! My name is Lucas.

What do you do (other than being awesome of course)?

I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Toronto, Canada.

So, why weddings?

Great questions! I love shooting weddings because it gives me the ability to capture and preserve so many authentic moments. Not only that, but it’s just a joyous event and good vibes everywhere!

What is your favourite part of the wedding day or planning process?

My favourite part is shooting the bride & groom before the reception starts. My couples usually give me free range for my creative vision and this is where I usually execute it.

What question do you wish all couples would ask you?

Do you like milk or cream in your coffee?

What question do you wish couples would stop asking you?

None! I love hearing from all of them!

What’s the one wedding trend you currently love?

I’m loving these statement wedding décor installations like hanging florals over dining tables.

What’s the one wedding trend you could do without?

Complicated hashtags!

What’s the one piece of advice you give all your couples?

Don’t forget to breathe!
